Jean Fletcher studied at RCM in London with Hugh Bean and Frederick Grinke. She led the Heller Quartet in Bermuda for several years and was subsequently principal violin with the Ulster Orchestra. Now based in Scotland, she is principal 2nd violin of the Aberdeen Sinfonietta and has reformed the Heller Quartet, together with Gareth John, Guera Maunder and Sandra Campbell.
